A message from Beth Kelloway.
The start of something really special
After forming in 2014, Future of Football has coached thousands of children and currently has over 200 players being coached weekly in Melksham, Westbury and Trowbridge.
We have always been about developing the individual player and teams was never on our agenda. Our first group of young players geled so well together, the parents wanted them to continue playing together so we decided to form them into a team and be a part of their full football journey. As we grew, it was inevitable FOF FC would be formed…and here we are. This is a fresh new start and an incredible opportunity for hundreds of young footballers and their football journey.

Our Home
After weeks of talks and meetings with Melksham Without Parish Council, we can confirm the home of FOF FC will be at Bowerhill Sports field next to Knorr Bremse. We will eventually have access to the site’s kitchen and serving room which will be fantastic on game days.
Meet our committee
This group of people have worked extremely hard behind the scenes for the past 5 months. Each of them have shared their reason for being involved with the club. We are now looking to form a sub-committee, ensuring we have enough support for all of upcoming projects as well as help for matches and events.

I am truly grateful for the opportunity to be able to set up FOF FC. This is a chance for players that train through Future Of Football to play under the FOF banner. We have had a great response and the committee have worked extremely hard for this project to be able to get to where we are today. I’m so excited to see what the future brings for all players under the FOF umbrella.

I’m extremely proud to be a part of this exciting, new club. With the committee we have formed we are hoping to provide a unique individual brand of exciting football to everyone of all ages and abilities to enjoy. This exciting new set up will help provide stepping stones and confidence skills for all players, making it a great learning platform. We as a club want to make a diference to young players and give them the help and support to develop.

I was introduced to Future of Football and the team in 2014. I quickly fell in love with their skills based philosophy and my son, Olly has been in the Academy from the age of 4. When I was asked if I would like to be a committee member of FOF FC going forward, I was thrilled to accept this opportunity.

I wanted to get involved with FOF FC primarily due to their ethos on how to play technical, skills based football. I also believe that in Luke, James, Beth and the rest of the team, you have a collective that not only improves the football ability of my two sons but also helps to shape them into better human beings. I wanted to get involved for a number of reasons, which is a testament to what we are looking to achieve as a club. The main two were to have a positive impact on the local community and so I could be a part of my children’s footballing journeys. Having had my 2 boys play at FOF one for 3 years now, I have seen them both grow in confidence and enjoy football. What makes this exciting for me, both myself and my family love the training, structure and coaches plus they have had so many amazing opportunities to help them develop. Joining Future of Football FC
The interest so far has been overwhelming, we have had nearly 100 young players sign up for our first season. Spaces are now very limited and certain age groups are full so please get in touch and we will try our best to accommodate any new players where possible.
Growing the club too quickly would be counter productive, so a maximum number of admissions for our first season as a club has been set. however anyone missing out will be put onto a waiting list for the following season.
A different approach
Training
We are slightly diferent to a normal club setup in that we charge a monthly fee for our training sessions. For your child to play for FOF FC they must be a member of Future of Football, they will join our weekly skill based sessions in either Melksham, Trowbridge or Westbury.
On joining Future of Football’s weekly sessions, every new player gets a FREE taster session which allows them to see if they enjoy our sessions. Our weekly sessions are £27 per month you can find out more about our sessions below.
Signing on fees
Once your child comes on board with one of our teams, an annual signing on fee per player is required before the start of each new season.

We need all the help we can get, so that’s why we are bringing together a sub-committee who can lend a hand when needed. Whether that’s help on match days or at our fundraising events, any help is welcomed.
