Frequently asked questions
Q. My child plays for a team; can they still attend their club team training and games as well as FOF sessions?
Of course, we have many members who play for other teams in the area. We are all about developing the individual player so our sessions will have huge benefits to any child looking to improve their game.
Q. My child doesn’t play for a team, do you have any they can join?
Yes, Future of Football also has a football club called FOFFC. We have over 36 teams and 300+ players. Providing your child is in year 2 at school, they are eligible to play for the club.
Q. Can my child join a team as soon as they start FOF sessions?
Not necessarily, depending on what time of the year you join- team spaces may be full. Feel free to email us if you have any questions regarding this.
Q. My child has no experience of playing football. Does this matter?
Not at all. Whether your child is new to the game or an experienced player they are more than welcome to join us.

Q. Are sessions all year round?
Yes, with the exception of these dates
Q. Do parents need to stay and watch?
For players aged 8 and below parent/guardians are required to stay as it is always reassuring for the child knowing their parent/guardian is close by. If for any reason you are unable to stay for the session, a responsible adult (aged 16+) must be present.
Q. Do I get a refund if my child cannot make a session?
Our venue and staff costs are fixed, so unfortunately we cannot give refunds for any sessions missed.
Q. If we want to stop attending, how do we withdraw our membership?
You are not tied into a contract or any minimum periods of attendance or notice. All we ask is that you cancel your direct debit and then inform us via email.
