Bally photoLuke is a lead coach and co-founder of Future Of Football.
Luke has coached for a number of years starting with at 16 when he started a little Saturday morning club in his local village Seend. After a number of weeks Luke had gathered over 30 young children ranging from 5-14. Luke coached at Bristol City Under 12s for 3 years. A number of the players he coached there have been lucky enough to represent their country at youth level as well transferred to Liverpool and Chelsea recently.

Favourite Football Memory:
When England beat Germany 5-1.

Luke has played football since the age of 5 and played for Shaw Whitley, Swindon Town and Forest Green Rovers. Luke joined Bristol City at 16, where he played for the Under 18s and reserve side as well as making a couple of friendly appearances for the 1st team. Luke has recently been more known for his involvement in the England national Futsal team. Luke is the record appearance and goal scorer for England and captained the side for 6 of the 8 years he has played for his country. Luke has been all over the world playing for England, playing in World and European competitions.

When playing for England against Libya away, we visited Gaddafi’s house.

Interesting Fact:

Futsal is where Luke believes England will start to produce the next generation of England stars. The game involves everyone to be able to attack and defend, gives young players more touches on the ball, creates loads more situations for youngsters to think about, creates 1v1 situations as well as many other positive factors that he believes we as a country struggle with currently.

When Luke, Luke and James met they brought all their qualities and experiences together to develop Future Of Football. The idea for Luke is create an environment where the kids get more touches on the ball, feel that they are in a learning and fun environment to train, be able to have a develop the skills that the next step in their football career they will face and feel safe and part of something very exciting as Future Of Football is continuing to grow in the South West.
